Harvard Class Projects

Educational Design

I was trained under Stacie Green and Denise Snyder where I learned how to develop learning experiences using today's media and technologies for website, app, webinar, online course, workshop, or interactive museum exhibit. It was a project based course where I worked in groups to develop a series of products by learning instructional design theories and frameworks. Expertise from this course course will help me to improve the learning experience in any organization.

Experience

Testimonials

I had the pleasure of working with Dolphia when she was at the Boston Globe. I came away fairly impressed with her ability to pick up new technologies and mentor junior developers who were learning our system for the first time. She was consistently reliable and made herself available for questions/problem solving even during non work hours and weekends, and I was sad to see her go. She'll be an asset wherever she goes.

Joseph George, Manager, Boston Globe

Dolphia has designed her own website "Story of Cooks" and has done a great job with it. The website is very informative and allows people to understand her as a developer/cook and her background. She started the website with one design and then customized it to the version available today. The customization was done to make it easier for her readers to navigate through her site. She is also working on her second masters, this time on Design and Applied Arts. Her grade point average of 3.89 reflects how well she is doing. I also worked with Dolphia at the Boston Globe on several projects where she worked hard to develop new skills that were needed to get the job done.

Beverly Periera, Colleague, Boston Globe

Dolphia is personable, willing to ask questions, and works hard to develop new skills as the job requires

Who am I?

Being a web-developer was my biggest dream which I lived for five years! I’ve worked in big teams (>10) and also alone. Over the course of years I realized that I love working with designs, sketches much more than development. Since February 2016, I am pursuing Masters in Media Design degree from Harvard University and ACTIVELY looking for UX design roles.

During weekends I love to cook and enjoy meals with my husband. You can find my recipes and photography here. I love traveling but not to cities. I try to visit less crowded and more green city.My Insta feed

I am originally from Kolkata,India where I grew up and finished my undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering. I came to Buffalo, NY in 2010 where I finished my MS in CSE from State University of NY - Buffalo.
